Most mutual fund investors did not abandon stocks during the market decline of 2008-09, according to new research published by Vanguard, a US funds group. In separate research, Vanguard found that most mutual fund investors have not been eager to add to their equity positions during the subsequent rebound, unlike in previous recoveries.
