Marhefka exits Morgan Stanley
Ed Marhefka, a managing director within the securities lending division of Morgan Stanley, has left the firm.
He had been with the firm for more than 14 years and was most recently managing director of equity and repo sales in New York. Marhefka completed an MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1988.
In December, the Wall Street Journal reported that Morgan Stanley plans to cut 1600 jobs - a total of 2.6% of the New York securities firm's workforce.
Morgan Stanley declined to comment.
