BNP Paribas Securities Services has been selected by La Française AM to provide depository, custody, transfer agent and valuation services.
The development extends the partnership between the two groups and underpins La Française AM’s expansion around the world.
The scope of the mandate includes the respective management activities of La Française des Placements, LFP Sarasin AM, La Française Real Estate Managers and La Française AM International, the manager’s Luxembourg subsidiary. It may also be extended to certain other group holdings as required.
La Française AM has €35bn ($46bn) assets under management (on December 31 2011) and serves a diversified client base. Drawing upon its subsidiary in Luxembourg and presence in other European countries including Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Benelux and the Nordics, the group has a strong focus on international development.
La Française AM has subscribed to BNP Paribas Securities Services’ master-feeder cross-border solution, which will enable it to serve more end investors around the world and streamline the global distribution of its UCITS funds.
