BNY Mellon has hired Paula Kelleher as its new head of trustee for Ireland.

She moves from Irish law firm Dillon Eustace where she advised financial institutions, insurance firms and financial services providers on a wide range of issues including establishment and regulatory compliance.

In her new role Kelleher will report to Peter Craft, CEO, Emea trustee and depositary at BNY Mellon Asset Servicing. She replaces Anne King who retires after 14 years with the bank.

“Anne has contributed significantly to the growth and success of our company here in Ireland through her experience and leadership,” said Joe Duffy, country executive for Ireland.

Before Dillon Eustace she was managing director and head of Citigroup’s trustee operation in Dublin. She is a member of the Law Society of Ireland, the Law Society of England and the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland, and an associate member of the Irish Taxation Institute.
