ABN AMRO loses two heads to IT firm

ABN AMRO’s European head of equity finance trading and head of IT solutions for equity financing and securities financing, have left the bank for Synechron

Sander Baauw, head of equity finance trading for Europe at ABN AMRO, has left the bank after more than a decade to move to the IT solutions company Synechron.

He leaves for Synechron with Raymond Vuyst who was ABN AMRO’s head of the IT solutions division for equity derivatives and securities financing.

Both Baauw and Vuyst are now managing directors at Synechron in Amsterdam where they will focus on bolstering its capital markets division.

Before ABN AMRO, Vuyst worked for Fortis Bank and MeesPierson.
