Calypso Technology has joined forces with AcadiaSoft to enhance its collateral management solution

Calypso Technology will combine its collateral management solution with AcadiaSoft’s MarginSphere electronic messaging and workflow solution for OTC collateral.
The partnership has been driven by collateral requirements of around $2trn as OTC derivatives are mandated to be cleared through central counterparties (CCPs). Calypso said that firms are being pressurised to re-evaluate their collateral infrastructure and workflow, and that there is more demand for electronic messaging flow.
The move combines AcadiaSoft’s automation of the margin process with Calypso’s collateral management solution. The partnership gives Calypso’s clients a “simple and effective solution for collateral efficiency”, said David Little, director of business development for collateral solutions at Calpyso.
Chris Walsh, chief operating officer at AcadiaSoft, said the firm’s automated margin process can provide a seamless experience for Calypso’s clients by improving transparency and lowering costs.
