First State Investments has made two hires to its responsible investment teams in London and Sydney.
Will Oulton, who moves from Mercer Investment, is now global head of responsible investment based in London. He was head of responsible investment Emea at Mercer and he is vice president of the European Sustainable Investment Forum and a director of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Forum.
Pablo Berruti will be in Sydney as head of responsible investment Asia Pacific. He joins from Perpetual where he held the same role. Berruti is chair of the Investor Group on Climate Change Research Working Group and is a director of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia.
Oulton will report to Chris Turpin, global head of product, while Berruti will report to Oulton.
