Citi has won a mandate from Asian asset management firm Value Partners Group to provide global custody, fund administration and fiduciary services.
Citi will service the manager’s first Ucits-compliant fund, the Value Partners Absolute Greater China Classic Fund.
Timothy Tse, CEO of Value Partners, said investors are looking for exposure to Asia in what is a very challenging macro environment. He went on to say that Citi’s custody network, regional expertise and scalable fund services will bring value to its investors.
Value Partners’ Ucits fund is a sub-fund of its Dublin-domiciled umbrella company, Value Partners Ireland Fund.
