JPMorgan Asset Management has appointed Peter Pergovacz to its global liquidity sales team covering the Emea region.

He joins from JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services where he was a relationship manager for clients from insurance firms, corporate, pension funds and foundations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In his new role, Pergovacz will report from Frankfurt to Sven Lorenz who is head of global liquidity in north, central and eastern Europe. Lorenz said the move is another step towards the asset manager’s expansion into continental Europe.

Before JPMorgan, Pergovacz held sales roles at hedge fund manager Naissance Capital and Oppenheim Private Equity Partners.
