RBC Investor Services has appointed Martin Anderson as head of network management. Anderson replaces Tim Wood who held the role in addition to acting as head of client solutions.
Wood will now solely focus on the client solutions side of the business. Anderson was most recently director of client solutions for a number of European locations. In his new role Anderson will be responsible for managing all relationships with the custodian’s network of sub-custodian banks, prime brokers and other key bank providers globally.
He will be based in Dublin and will also be responsible for managing operations teams in London, Luxembourg, Toronto and Singapore. Anderson will report to Joanna Meager, global head of client operations and member of the custodian’s global executive committee. He has been at RBC Investor Services since July 2007, joining from Northern Trust where he worked for 12 years.
Until recently, RBC Investor Services was known as RBC Dexia Investor Services until the announcement that Royal Bank of Canada now has full ownership of the custodian bank.
