Stenham Asset Management has hired two new investment team members, Akshay Krishnan as senior research analyst and Rishi Patel as senior operational due diligence analyst.

Krishnan will take the responsibility for the firm’s global macro strategies across the range of Stenham funds. He will focus on the asset manager's global macro funds of hedge funds, which includes monitoring, identifying and providing detailed analysis of global macro hedge funds.

In the operational due diligence team, Patel will play a part in reviewing existing and potential new investments.

“ Stenham continues to focus on and remains committed to the institutional and high net worth markets. We have a very conservative approach to managing our clients’ investments with active strategy allocation; fundamental manager selection; and risk management being at the heart of our investment philosophy,” said Kevin Arenson, CEO of Stenham Asset Management.

Krishnan has 7 years of investment experience and a strong background in derivatives and risk management. Prior to joining Stenham, he was a senior analyst at SAIL Advisors in Hong Kong where he was responsible for leading research in relative value and global macro strategies. He came to the UK in 2011 and was responsible for establishing SAIL Advisors’ London office.

Patel has 7 years of investment experience and has previously worked as head of operational due diligence at Momentum Global Investment Management. He has also held positions in risk management at Credit Suisse, accountancy at Ernst & Young, and external audit at Deloitte.
