Firm creates chief operating and risk officer roles
Lombard Odier has strengthened its leadership capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region with the creation of two new roles.
The firm has appointed Fred Horsey, who joins from Janus Capital, as co-chief operating officer and general counsel, while Christophe Morel, currently a member of the firm's internal audit unit, has been appointed Asia-Pacific chief risk officer.

Horsey has over 15 years experience in Asian investing and has experience across operations, product development and regulatory affairs, having worked in senior roles at Janus Capital, BGI and JPMorgan Asset Management.
At Lombard Odier, he will be responsible for managing finance, operations, legal and compliance and human resource processes , working alongside Singapore-based co-COO Hansreudi Kern.
Morel relocated to Hong Kong from Geneva, where he is senior vice president in the firm's internal audit department. He has been with Lombard Odier since 2000.
