Mexican regulator to reveal reforms

Representatives from the CNBV and Finra will speak at the Global Investor/ISF Pan-American Securities Finance Summit
The Mexican regulator will speak about reform of the country’s securities market at the upcoming Global Investor/ISF Pan-American Securities Finance Summit in New York [http://goo.gl/1OvtpG].
Karla Siller Ojeda, general director for supervision of securities and derivatives entities at the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores will give a keynote speech at the event.
She will also speak about updates in Mexican regulation and the importance of investing in a well-regulated market. She will also speak on a panel on Latin American regulation.
Susan Light of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Finra) will give a keynote address in the afternoon. She is senior vice president and chief counsel at the US regulator’s Enforcement Department.
The summit takes place on September 26.
