When BlueMountain Capital Management (BMCM) celebrates its tenth anniversary this November, the firm can look back proudly at its accomplishments since being founded by Andrew Feldstein and Stephen Siderow in 2003.
Since inception, BMCM has been at the forefront of credit and derivatives investment and has grown assets under management to almost $17.5bn. The addition of roughly fifty new institutional clients in the past twelve months is testament to BMCM's recognition as one of the most sophisticated credit hedge funds in the industry.
The firm's investment philosophy is firmly entrenched in a derivatives culture that is rooted in credit investing, although BMCM invests in multiple asset classes including equities.
