Deutsche Bank has promoted Jose Sicilia to head of global equity services
Deutsche Bank’s Global Transaction Banking (GTB) division has appointed Jose Sicilia as head of global equity services.
In this role, Sicilia will be responsible for maximising the future growth potential of GTB’s global equity services franchise and strengthening its footprint globally, Deutsche Bank said.
Based in New York, he will report to Satvinder Singh, global head of trust and securities services and cash management financial institutions.
“His [Sicilia’s] appointment and relocation underpins our objective of building greater connectivity and developing stronger partnerships, across the businesses and regions,” Satvinder Singh said.
“Jose’s broad experience and knowledge of the business will be a critical driver in further building-out global equity services,” he added.
Sicilia has worked at Deutsche Bank for 15 years and has held a number of leadership positions. Most recently he has worked as head of the bank’s corporate trust business in the Emea region.
Since mid-2012, he has also acted as regional head of the trust and securities services/cash management financial institutions business unit for Western Europe.
