Signia hires Rosenthal for hedge fund role

Signia Wealth has named Michael Rosenthal as head of hedge fund investment.

He joins from Amundi Asset Management in London, where he was global co-head of hedge fund investment.

Signia said Rosenthal would bring “significant expertise and experience” in hedge funds across the US, European, Asia Pacific and Japanese markets.

Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe, Signia's chief executive, said Rosenthal was “widely recognised” as a leading expert in hedge fund investments.

“His knowledge and experience add another key dimension to the firm’s unique offering and the development of our hedge fund proposition highlights a very successful year of expansion for the business,” she said.

Rosenthal spent a decade at Amundi, during which time, the its assets under management grew from $1.5bn to $27bn and saw the firm break into the top five European hedge fund investors.
