Follows recent exits from the business. Stephanie Baxter reports

Barclays’ Rishi Karir, head of quantitative prime services distribution Emea, has left the bank, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

Karir had worked at the bank for more than three years. He was in charge of distributing the bank’s European suite of quantitative products.

Karir previously worked at Credit Suisse for four years, where he was head of AES hedge fund and high frequency distribution. Before that he was at Bloomberg.

Barclays said it was not in a position to comment by the time of publishing this story.

Global Investor/ISF has also reported that the bank has filled the roles of global head of equity financing and US equity financing head within the prime services business.
