Barclays fills US equity financing position

US fixed income financing head Michael Webb takes up Squeri’s role, according to a trusted source. Stephanie Baxter reports

Michael Webb, a managing director at Barclays, has become head of prime services equity finance Americas, Global Investor/ISF has learned from a trusted source.

The role was previously held by Thomas Squeri who has left the bank, Global Investor/ISF reported last week.

Webb is head of the US fixed income financing business.

Barclays declined to comment.

Global Investor/ISF has also reported that Barclays has filled the position of global equity financing head and that another head within prime services has left the bank.
