In her new role, she will be responsible for developing LGIM’s DC proposition.
Douglas will report to Aaron Meder, global head of solutions.
Meder said: “Emma will play a key leadership role in developing our DC business, building on our existing solutions capabilities and working in partnership with our distribution teams and other parts of Legal & General’s business to help develop our strong relationships with pension clients and consultants. We continue to invest further in our DC proposition to ensure that we firmly establish ourselves as the market leader in delivering innovative investment solutions.”
Douglas started her career in financial services with the TSB Group, having graduated from Trinity College, Oxford. She has worked in the investment management industry for more than 20 years. Before Mercer she worked at Threadneedle Investments, where she was head of DC pensions and institutional client relationships, and BlackRock, where she was head of DC sales.
