Two directors at Markit have left the firm, Global Investor/ISF has learned from several trusted sources.

Linda Benzi, who was a director in relationship management and sales based in New York, and London-based Sejal Amin, a director of sales in equities, have both left the firm.

Benzi and Amin both worked for Data Explorers prior to its acquisition by Markit in April 2012.

Amin joined Data Explorers in 2006 from Thomson Reuters. She was promoted to director of equity sales in 2013 from her role as vice president of sales for Markit Securities Finance, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Benzi joined Data Explorers in September 2009 from Citi. Her previous employers include EquiLend, and Goldman Sachs where she worked for nine years, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Several other former Data Explorers employees have left Markit since the 2012 acquisition.
