Senior appointments at Lyxor US

Lyxor Asset Management has announced two senior management appointments within its US business Lyxor AM, effective early August 2014.

Nathanaël Benzaken is appointed chief executive officer for Lyxor in the US. He will be based in New York from early August and will report to Lionel Paquin, CEO Lyxor Asset Management.

Benzaken has been head of managed account development since 2009 and deputy head of the alternative investment business line. He joined Lyxor AM in March 2001 as head of the long/short equity desk and was promoted to managing director and head of the hedge fund research and selection department in January 2005. He was appointed head of managed account platform development in June 2009.

Lior Segev is appointed deputy CEO for Lyxor in the US, in addition to his current responsibilities as chief operating officer and will report to Benzaken. He currently acts as interim CEO for Lyxor Inc.

Segev has 15 years of experience in the alternative asset management business, of which the last seven have been within Societe Generale.

He joined SG Asset Management in the US as chief legal counsel (CLO) and chief compliance officer (CCO) in March 2006 and became Lyxor Asset Management Inc’s CLO and CCO in April 2008 following the merger of SG Asset Management into Lyxor.
