Barings expands North American team
Baring Asset Management has made two new appointments to its North American business.
Michael Annis joins as head of sales & business development, Canada and will be based in Toronto, while Kieran Stover joins as vice president, sales & business development, based in Portland.
Annis joins from JP Morgan Asset Management in Canada. As a consultant advisor he focused on servicing the institutional consultant community. He previously held positions at AllianceBernstein Canada and Royal Bank of Canada Dominion Securities and is responsible for business development across Canada and client service in Canada and some parts of the US.
Stover joins from Kleinwort Benson Investors International, where he was a senior vice president, business development. He focused on west coast opportunities where he specialised in both consultant relations and direct plan sponsor business development.
Before that he was director of business development at Arnerich Massena in Portland. Stover is responsible for Barings' sales and business development covering consultants and plan sponsors in the western US.
