Financial technology provider HedgeGuard has opened an office in Dublin, following the establishment of its London office launch in January.

The Paris-based company, which provides technology for hedge funds, family offices and asset managers in France, opened its office in Dublin’s technology hotspot, known as the Silicon Docks area.

“Ireland is a natural next destination in our expansion, with its world-leading technology industry plus its great academic institutions providing us with an incredible talent pool of well-educated young people,” said Imad Warde, CEO and founder of HedgeGuard.

HedgeGuard’s chief technology officer Loïc Baumann will relocate to Dublin to lead the establishment of the new office.
Baumann, a software architect and Microsoft development technologies specialist, said he was delighted to be spearheading the move.

“It has great potential both in terms of clients, who are increasingly basing themselves in the Irish market, and the team we can build to support our client service,” Baumann said.
