Invesco Powershares hires Emea head
Invesco PowerShares has appointed Bryon Lake as head of its Emea exchange traded fund (ETF) business.
Lake’s responsibilities will include driving the strategic direction of Invesco PowerShares ETF, Emea, providing leadership to all aspects of the business and collaborating with Invesco’s global ETF teams.
“As the demand for alternatively-weighted ETFs continues to grow, Lake’s appointment marks a commitment to strengthening our resource within Emea,” said Mark Armour, senior managing director and head of Emea, Invesco.
Previously Lake headed up global business development at Invesco PowerShares. He has worked for the firm since 2002.
