BBH to service Lord Abbett’s Ucits funds

BBH will provide services support for newly-launched range of Irish Ucits funds
Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) has been selected to provide
service support for Lord Abbett’s newly-launched
range of Irish Ucits funds.
The fixed-income fund range, which has been called Passport
Portfolios, consists of a duration-income fund,
strategic-income fund and a high-yield fund.
"[Lord Abbett’s choice] came down to
BBH’s global enterprise and their track record of
successfully servicing Ucits products for their clients," said
Joan Binstock, partner and chief operations officer at Lord
"Europe continues to be an integral part of our strategy,"
said Seán Páircéir, partner at
BBH. "We look forward to supporting Lord Abbett in
all facets of their Ucits business."
The funds, which have surpassed $250m in inflows since their
launch in March, will be marketed first in the UK, Ireland,
Netherlands, Denmark, Finland and Norway. Other
European markets are expected to follow.
