Lyxor Asset Management UK has made three key appointments to lead its strategic growth in the UK and Northern European markets.

Olivier Cassin joins as head of UK institutional sales, Mattias Gustawsson as head of Nordic institutional sales and Joost Wijstma becomes head of Netherlands institutional sales.

Cassin has more than 15 years’ experience in the banking and fund management industry, having worked with JPMorgan and Banque Paribas.

He joins from Bfinance where he was co-head of the London office and also co-headed the private markets team. In addition he led the research and development team for the firm's investment consulting practice.

Gustawsson joins from BBVA where he worked within fund derivatives sales covering the Nordic region. He has 13 years’ experience in the banking and fund management industry gained with Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank.

Joost Wijstma has more than 14 years’ experience in the fund management industry. He joins from Syntrus Achmea where he was covering Dutch institutions and was previously at Henderson, Franklin Templeton and Robeco.
