Stephen Malekian, managing director and head of European and Asian fixed income finance within Barclays' prime finance division, has left the firm, Global Investor/ISF can exclusively reveal.

Based in the UK, Malekian has worked at the bank since August 2011, according to his LinkedIn profile. Barclays declined to comment.

Global Investor/ISF also reported that Alex Lawton has left Barclays' prime finance team.

Several members of Barclays’ prime services team left over a period of several months between last October and early this year. Most recently, Global Investor/ISF reported in January that Robert Zekraus, formerly director of prime services, had left Barclays.

The bank also made some internal changes, including appointing David Lohuis as global head of equity financing in addition to his role as global head of fixed income financing. The role of global head of equity financing had previously been held by Ashley Wilson who moved to Deutsche Bank earlier this year.
