UBS hires Emea liquidity management head

UBS Global Asset Management has hired James Finch has joined the firm as head of global liquidity management, Emea.

Based in London, Finch will be responsible for the development and expansion of UBS Global Asset Management's liquidity management business in Emea. He will report to Joe Abed, head of global liquidity management.

“We are delighted to welcome Finch as his exceptional track record in our industry and his experience will help us further assist clients in the management of their short-term liquidity requirements," said Abed.

Finch was previously head of UK and fixed-income business development at Source.

Before this, he was head of distribution, Emea, for the liquidity management businesses of JPMorgan Asset Management, Barclays Global Investors and Legal & General Investment Management.

Finch is also a board member of the Institutional Money Market Funds Association.
