Neuberger Berman has hired Gillian Tiltman as a portfolio manager for Europe within its global real estate securities group as the firm continues to develop its global Real Estate Investment Trust (Reit) capabilities.

Tiltman will be responsible for constructing and managing assets invested in Europe within the global real estate strategy.

“Tiltman’s appointment displays our commitment to building a truly global team able to offer comprehensive coverage of the real estate securities markets,” said Steve Shigekawa, senior portfolio manager, and head of the Neuberger Berman Global Real Estate Securities Group.

Her hire marks the further expansion of the firm’s global real estate securities efforts and follows the recent appointment of Anton Kwang as a portfolio manager for the Asia Pacific region based in Hong Kong.

Tiltman joins Neuberger Berman from M&G Investments in London where for the past four years she served as a portfolio manager for a global real estate securities fund with responsibility for asset allocation and stock picking decisions.

Before M&G, Tiltman was an analyst at Municipal Housing Finance Investment Banking in New York.
