Exclusive: Eric Champion leaves BAML
Eric Champion has left Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was equity finance director in the prime brokerage group for almost two years, Global Investor/ISF can confirm.
Global Investor/ISF understands that Champion is in the process of moving to a senior securities finance position a major bank, but the bank would not confirm the appointment at this time. His new role is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Champion was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the prime brokerage division for over eight years, with stints at the London, Tokyo and finally Hong Kong office, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He previously worked within the stock lending business at Societe Generale in Paris and Dresdner Kleinwort in London.
Bank of America Merryll Lynch confirmed that he had departed but declined to comment.
