Polar Capital hires European income head
Polar Capital Holdings has hired Nick Davis to head up the new European income franchise.
The aim is for the franchise to launch a new Pan European Income Fund in Q4 2014.
“Nick joins us to build the European Income franchise and his appointment demonstrates our further commitment to growing the number of investment teams within Polar Capital," said Tim Woolley, CEO of Polar Capital.
"Nick has considerable experience in investing in Pan European equities and we look forward to him developing this franchise for us over the coming years.”
Nick joins Polar Capital from Threadneedle where he managed the £603m Threadneedle European Fund and the £91m Threadneedle Pan European Equity Dividend Fund.
Prior to Threadneedle, he worked for Sanford Bernstein, Deloitte and Arthur Anderson.
