BNP Paribas strengthens Apac team

BNP Paribas Securities Services has made two senior appointments to its Asia Pacific team.

Stephanie Marelle has been appointed head of Hong Kong. She is responsible for client relationships and service delivery in addition to her role as head of clearing and custody services in Asia Pacific.

Marelle succeeds Bruno Campenon has relocated to New York as head of clearing and custody services in the Americas.

She joined JPMorgan’s custody and clearing business in 1993, which was acquired by BNP Paribas. She has held various roles in Paris, London, Frankfurt and Hong Kong.

David Raccat has been appointed head of market and financing services for Apac. This is in addition to his role as head of global markets and he will remain based in Singapore.

Raccat has been with BNP Paribas since 1996 and was appointed head of global markets in 2011.
