Nomura has hired two sales people into its recently integrated prime finance business, Global Investor/ISF has exclusively learned. 

Massimo Labella has joined as executive director, head of directional delta one sales. He previously spent 12 years at JPMorgan, focusing on flow equity derivatives and delta one products.

Babita Ittoo has joined as a vice president, and will focus on client origination in Emea. She previously spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs, focusing on the prime brokerage hedge fund client base.

“Adding Massimo and Babita to the team, both of whom are well known and respected in the industry, will boost the distribution of our excellent suite of financing products,” said Phil Morgan, head of prime finance sales in Emea.

In April, Nomura combined its global equity financing, prime services and delta one businesses, to further enhance its multi-product and cross-asset client offering with an East to West focus. Ben Challice leads the consolidated team.
