Invesco hires ETF development head, Emea

Invesco PowerShares has hired Nicolas Samaran to the newly created role of head of product development, Emea.

Samaran’s will work closely with Lorraine Wang, global head of ETF products and research, and Bryon Lake, head of Invesco PowerShares Emea, to develop ETFs for the European markets.

His responsibilities will include product-line design such as researching, developing and project managing new product ideas and product line enhancements.

Samaran joins Invesco from Source, where he was head of investment content. He has also held roles at Man Investments as a senior structurer in Switzerland, and as an executive director in the fund derivative structuring group at UBS in London.
