BNP Paribas Securities Services has been selected by Antin Infrastructure Partners (Antin IP) to act as depositary bank for the Antin Infrastructure Partners II fund, in accordance with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFM) directive.

BNP Paribas’ experience as a trusted provider of depositary services for investment capital and infrastructure funds in the European markets played a major role in this decision. BNP Paribas was also appointed as depositary bank for the original Antin Infrastructure Partners fund.

“We were looking for a reliable partner, an expert on investment vehicles across different legal frameworks. The international dimension of BNP Paribas Securities Services was therefore a decisive element for us. We have complete confidence in the bank’s teams, which have provided us with first class support to ensure compliance with AIFMD,“ Alain Rauscher, President Directeur Général of Antin Infrastructure Partners, said.

Antin IP is an independent management company which specialises in infrastructure investments in the energy, environment, transport and telecommunications sectors.

The Antin Infrastructure Partners Fund II counts more than 60 leading international investors located in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, including pension funds, insurers, asset managers and sovereign wealth funds. The Fund will follow the same investment strategy as Antin IP’s first fund.
