Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) appointed Pascal Jacquemin as SGSS Deutschland KAG CEO and country head for SGSS in Germany on September 1.

Based in Munich, Jacquemin reports to Bruno Prigent, global head of SGSS and replaces Frédéric Barroyer, who will pursue other responsibilities within SGSS. Jacquemin will be responsible for overseeing the development of SGSS’ range of securities services in Germany.

“Germany is a strategic country for the development of SGSS. With his extensive experience in the securities services industry, Pascal Jacquemin will play an important role in leading our business development efforts in the country,” says Bruno Prigent, global head of SGSS.

“We plan to progressively develop and extend our securities services offering in Germany and initiatives will include investing in market-driven value-added services for our clients and further developing the custody arm of our fully integrated pan-European platform.”

Jacquemin was previously deputy head of the international department for SGSS in Paris.
