David Carruthers leaves Markit
David Carruthers, managing director, co-head Europe at Markit, is to leave the firm at the end of the year.
Carruthers will be leaving Markit towards the end of the year to join a new venture outside of securities finance.
Carruthers' responsibilities will be assumed by Ed Marhefka, managing director, co-head US. Marhefka will now take on full responsibility for running the business.
Directors Oliver Smith and Pierre Khemdoudi will support Ed in leading the business in Europe.
