The new board members replace Richard Berliand, Reto Francioni and William Templer, who stepped down earlier this year due to regulatory requirements or on own request.

Further, the supervisory board has appointed Clifford Lewis as member of the Compensation Review and Nomination Committee of the supervisory board.

“We are delighted that the appointments of Roselyne and Clifford offer us the opportunity to extend our board’s diversity and internationality. With their deep and extensive knowledge of the industry, Roselyne and Clifford will further broaden the supervisory board’s expertise,” said Hugo Baenziger, chairman of the board.

Based in the UK, Roselyne Renel has been group chief credit officer of Standard Chartered Bank since November 2013. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Roselyne spent 16 years at Deutsche Bank.

Lewis has worked for the World Bank and the Chicago Board of Trade. From 2001 to 2013, he was CEO of Currenex. At present, Clifford is lead independent director of Eris Exchange and member of the CFTC Technology Advisory Committee. He lives in Florida.
