Carruthers joins Credit Benchmark
David Carruthers is now head of research at Credit Benchmark
Carruthers previously held roles at Markit Securities Finance, including most recently as managing director, and as head of Quant Research at Data Explorers. He left the firm at the end of last year.
Before this he held senior roles at risk consultants Barrie & Hibbert (now part of Moodys) where he was responsible for fixed income and equity portfolio risk analysis, and in portfolio management with Pimco and Murray Johnstone. He holds a PhD in Econometrics from Glasgow University and is a member of the CFA Institute.
