BNP Paribas SS wins UniSuper mandate
UniSuper has appointed BNP Paribas Securities Services its new master custodian, following an an extensive tender and review process.
BNP Paribas will be responsible for custody of assets as well as providing a range of reporting and administrative services to support the superannuation funds investment activities and regulatory obligations.
"This is a critical function for UniSuper, and having the right long-term partnership in place is key to our success," a statement on the UniSuper website reads.
UniSuper said that BNP Paribas was selected for its "world-class information delivery systems, combined with impressive depth and quality of service", which made it the best choice for UniSuper and its members.
BNP Paribas replaces NAB Asset Servicing partnered UniSuper for more than 20 years.
