State Street names Netherlands global services head
State Street Corporation has appointed Pieter M De Jong as head of State Street Global Services in the Netherlands. He will report to Willie Slattery, executive vice president of State Street and head of global services, Emea.
De Jong has been with State Street since 2004, most recently as chief operating officer for State Street’s Edinburgh office, a position which he has held for the last three years. Previously, De Jong was managing director for State Street in South Africa.
“Pieter’s appointment further bolsters our global services footprint in Emea. His role will ensure that our Dutch presence will continue to grow with a focus on building our client relationships,” said Slattery.
Before joining State Street, De Jong was a senior operations manager for ABN Amro Asset Management in the Netherlands.
