AXA Investment Managers has hired Florence Dard as head of France with responsibility for sales, marketing and client services. 

Based in Paris, Dard will report to Christophe Coquema, global head of client group and sit on the board of the firms executive committee.

"France is a hugely important market for us and with her breadth of sales and industry experience, we are confident that Florence is the right person to lead our efforts to not only maintain, but also grow our market share in France."

In her role, Dard will lead the French sales, marketing and client services teams and contribute to the strategic development of AXA Investment Management across all client segments in France: institutional investors, companies, distributors, independent financial advisors and AXA France’s unit linked business.

Dard joined AXA from Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management where she held positions including head of European institutional sales and sovereign wealth funds and head of French institutional sales.

Before this, she spent 16 years with the AXA family, including 10 years at AXA Investment Management where she was insurance relationship manager, head of corporate sales for pension and saving schemes.
