Pirum Systems has hired Mark Schilling as new global head of sales.

Schilling, who was previously managing director in prime services at Scotiabank, will be in charge of managing and increasing Pirum’s network of securities finance clients globally.

“I am delighted to welcome Mark as the head of our sales force and distribution team which further strengthens our ability to meet the needs of customers as they deal with the diverse demands of managing efficiency, operational risk and capital requirements,” said Rajen Sheth, CEO of Pirum Systems. 

“Mark's comprehensive understanding of the securities finance industry will greatly benefit our team, and our clients.”

Before joining Pirum, Schilling was responsible for European sales and marketing for Scotiabank and has also held various roles at Citi Bank, Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse First Boston and Deutsche Bank.
