eSecLending expands business development team

eSecLending has boosted its business development team with the hires of Erik Skulte as vice president, US business development and Nora Bowman as vice president, client relationship management.

Skulte will be responsible for the continued growth and expansion of the firm’s securities financing business. He has worked in securities lending, emerging markets, fixed income financing sales, liquidity management, and short duration sales during his 20 years in finance.

“Erik will be a key member of eSecLending’s business development team. His breadth of industry experience will be invaluable as we expand the firm’s US client relationships and development of service capabilities,” said eSecLending’s managing director of business development, Peter Bassler.

Skulte joins from Deutsche Bank where he was director of short duration sales. Before this he was at Royal Bank of Scotland also spent eight years at Lehman Brothers in roles of increased responsibility in the company’s US and international markets.

Nora Bowman will serve as the primary point of contact for designated US based clients, managing service delivery and overseeing all elements of the client programs.

Bowman was most recently assistant vice president, relationship management at State Street Corporation, where she managed relationships with the company’s mutual fund and pension fund clients in the securities lending division.
