Hymans Robertson, the pensions, benefits and risk consultancy is providing Aberdeen Asset management with online technology that helps individuals meet their savings goals.

The technology, called Go, analyses individual savings plans to help advise on products. Having some success in the workplace savings market, this is Hymans Robertson's first foray outside of the realm.

“We have a strong track record serving the workplace savings market, where our Go technology is being used by many employers to help employees make proper provision for retirement," said Ronnie Bowie, senior partner at Hymans Robertson.

"It is an exciting development for the firm to be diversifying into new areas, using our technology solutions to help investors outside of the workplace for the first time.

The online Aberdeen Asset Management service will be made available directly to a wide range of individual UK investors.

“We are delighted to be working with Aberdeen," added Bowie. "We have a shared ambition to provide digital services to savers giving them better financial outcomes, providing simple solutions in the face of much more complexity.”
