BLPK appoints new board
Basellandschaftliche Pensionskasse (BLPK), with assets exceeding CHF8.6bn ($9.19bn), has confirmed a new board of directors for the period from 2015 to 2019.
The members are: Michael Bammatter, Martin Kohler, Thomas Kübler, Markus Nydegger, Thomas Sauter and Thomas Tschudin Rosa.
Kohler and Kübler have been re-elected while the other members are new to the board. The elected members will assume the board on July 1.
The scheme uses a number of asset managers including Credit Suisse, Aberdeen Asset Management, Allianz Global Investors, Pictet Asset Management and PARSUMO Capital.
In addition, the fund selected Vontobel for active fixed income denominated in foreign currencies, Zuercher Kantonalbank (ZBK) for a foreign currency bonds index brief, and UBS Global Asset Management was picked for an active European small-cap account.
UBS already handles an active US large-cap equity mandate, while ZKB oversees active Swiss small-and mid-cap equity.
