CalSTRS appoints new equity consultant
The $191.2bn California State Teachers’ Retirement System
(CalSTRS) fund has appointed a new private equity consultant, Meketa Investment
Group, to advise its board only.
Cambridge Associates and Altius Associates remain advisers to
the private equity team and its $20bn private equity program.
The fund has also adopted new capital market assumptions in
the third phase of its asset allocation study. The new asset allocation targets
and ranges are scheduled to be approved in November.
