Northern Trust wins AP3 mandate
Third Swedish National Pension Fund (AP3) has chosen Northern Trust to provide global custodian services.
After extensive evaluation of different suppliers and their services, the decision was reached because Northern Trust's offer was considered to be the most economically advantageous based on the criteria established in the pension fund's request for proposal.
The award criteria have been based on a weighting of the following factors: RFP rankings exclusive of fees, fees, the results of a due diligence visit, impact of migration and conviction factors.
Prices have been assessed according to what has been presented by the tenders.According to the law on public procurement there will be no signing of agreements until July 10, 2015.
