RBC I&TS appointed custodian for US Ucits fund
RBC Investor & Treasury Services has been appointed by Hamlin Capital Management as custodian and fund administrator for its first Ucits fund.
The mandate covers custody, fund administration, shareholder and trustee services, and financial reporting services for the Hamlin Hight Dividend Equity Ucits fund
“Given the depth and breadth of their experience and their commitment to client service, we are confident RBC is best positioned to support our growth," said Mark Stitzer, founder and managing partner, Hamlin Capital Management LLP.
Based in New York City, Hamlin is an income-oriented, independent 1940 act investment advisory firm.
“US fund managers are increasingly seeking growth outside of their traditional domestic markets, and are attracted by countries like Ireland and Luxembourg and their status as international hubs for globally distributed investment funds, notably Ucits," said Kevin O’Neill, managing director, asset managers for North America, RBC Investor & Treasury Services.
"US asset managers already account for 54% of assets under administration or custody of funds domiciled in Ireland and 24% of those in Luxembourg.”
