National Grid UK Pension Scheme appoints CEO
Rob Schreur has been appointed as CEO to lead and develop the National Grid UK Pension Scheme. He will take up the role later this year.
Schreur is a member of the board and chief investment officer of the €18bn Philips Pensioenfonds in the Netherlands.
“Rob's experience of overseeing a large outsourced asset mandate, asset liability management and European best practices in pension fund investment will be invaluable to the trustees," said chairman of the trustees Nigel Stapleton.
"We are looking forward to welcoming Rob to the executive team.”
At the Philips Pensioenfonds, he is responsible for overall investment strategy, including asset liability management, strategic asset allocation, financial risk management and investment oversight.
